Addiction – We Can Help

If you’re in search of an addiction treatment center in Florida that makes use of evidence-based treatments to help recovering addicts with overcoming dependency then you’ve arrived at the right place.  Welcome to Rehab South Florida; an addiction treatment center that offers both drug and alcohol addiction recovery practices for all severity levels of dependency, and, for all addiction types.

Addiction treatment in Florida is offered to help addicted individuals achieve abstinence from compulsive illicit drug- and alcohol-use.  Treatment for various addictions can take place in a variety of environments, can be received in different forms, and can last for varying lengths of time (depending on the severity of the addiction and surrounding health/underlying conditions).  Since addiction is usually a chronic disorder that’s commonly characterized by relapses, usually, short-term or one-time treatments are, in most cases, not enough to overcome the dependency.

For most struggling addicts, recovering from addiction usually takes long-term treatments that include a multi-interventional effort and consistent around-the-clock monitoring.

There are multiple evidence-based approaches for addiction treatment.  Activities during drug treatment can include behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and/or MAT.  In many cases, both behavioral therapy and MAT (medication-assisted therapy) will be used together to address undesirable withdrawals/symptoms, underlying causes of the addictive behavior, and patients physical/mental stabilization.

Addiction treatments at Rehab South Florida are adjusted to the patients individual recovery needs.  The certain type of treatments (or combination of treatments) will vary accordingly depending on the personal recovery needs of the addict, and, the type of drug(s) used.

Recovery is Possible
Recovery is Possible

Of all substances, Alcohol is the one most commonly abused.  It’s a profound form of substance abuse that usually requires professional medical intervention to overcome.

According to a 2015 study held by the “National Survey on Drug Use and Health”, in the United States, over 15 million individuals over the age of 18 struggled with an alcohol use disorder.

Of this staggering amount, about only 6.7% sought and received treatment.  Still, alcohol-induced overdoses (which are usually caused by “binge drinking”) claim nearly 90,000 lives annually.

At RSF our clinical and addiction treatment staff fully understands the complexities surrounding addiction.  Our holistic recovery approaches and continuum of care will enable patients to have the best recovery outcome potentials with effective withdrawal-management treatments and evidence-based therapies.

Over 400,000 Floridians struggled with an addiction to drugs/alcohol in 2014.  In 2016, there were over 5,000 drug- and alcohol-induced overdose deaths.  It was only a year later in 2017 when the epidemic was declared a “state of emergency” in Florida, prompting state officials to fund efforts to combat the crisis.

Individuals struggling with substance use disorders tend to have a diverse range of supporting causes of the behavior.  They’re commonly challenged with varying degrees of addiction.  Over time, specialized recovery-focused therapies that address certain types of substance use disorders have developed.  Specialized treatment programs/therapies have been designed to cure addiction to various substances, including alcohol, cocaine, opiates, and also marijuana.

Addiction treatments rendered at RSF are premised on the belief that recovery treatments should not only focus on the substance use but also the large range of underlying causes that usually predate or co-occur with the abuse.  Such issues that could influence ones addictive behavior could include legal matters, social/family relationships, vocational/job concerns, health conditions, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

Through determining and evaluating the level of effectiveness of various treatment approaches, Rehab South Florida’s cutting-edge treatment facility will provide patients with proven-to-work treatments that are backed by evidence-based research.  Through cognitive behavioral therapy, medication-assisted therapy, 12-step meetings, one-on-one counseling/therapy, and daily structured routines, patients are recovery-enabled with the tools and intervention they need.

Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Alcohol addiction affects over 15 million adults nationwide and can cause serious long-term debilitating effects on one’s physical and mental health.  Established to help curb Florida’s relapse/overdose rate, and, to provide struggling alcoholics with a path to achieving long-term recovery; our facility offers addiction-treatment programs that utilize evidence-based treatments to transition patients from addiction to sobriety in a comprehensive approach.

Our recovery-focused modality and holistic treatment outlook has allowed our multi-disciplinary team to achieve a patient recovery success rate of over 90%.   Alcohol addiction treatment is a process that requires attention to the smallest of details to ensure a complication-free outcome, and, our clinical staff takes the time to ensure no details surrounding the recovering addict’s addiction are overlooked.

Most recovering addicts seeking treatment for alcohol-based addictions attend our residential program.  The duration of time a patient spends with us for treatment varies – depending on the severity of their addiction and recovery goals.  During initial admissions to inpatient alcohol treatment patients undergo a multi-part medical examination which includes an assessment of their health, prior medical conditions (if any), co-occurring disorders, and supporting/underlying causes of their addiction.

The overall purpose of addiction treatment is to help stabilize patients; both physically and mentally.

This way, recovering addicts can advance through treatment with minimally experienced challenges such as withdrawals, cravings, urges, and other symptoms that would otherwise emerge at higher intensity levels.  During treatment, the Rehab South Florida clinical staff works with patients one-on-one to devise treatment plans that focus on the individual recovery needs of the patient.

Individualized treatment plans offer the best recovery outcomes.  As such, all patients receive personalized treatment plans based on their unique recovery needs.

The sudden cessation of alcohol use can lead to dangerous and even life-threatening conditions.  As such, for cases involving severe alcohol abuse, professional medical intervention is advised so treatment can be provided in the event of a medical emergency.  At RSF, those in recovery receive around-the-clock care, medication-assisted therapies, and emotional support to alleviate the stresses often times experienced during recovery.

Drug Addiction Treatment

When it comes to drug addiction treatment, Rehab South Florida is well-reputed for our unique recovery approaches and treatments for all addiction types and severities.

Various drugs have unique physical and psychological effects on the user.  How the recovering addict responds to these effects, especially during rehab, will vary greatly.  This is why our treatment team takes a personalized treatment approach, one in which involves the assessment and understanding of the recovering addict’s addiction, medical history, and underlying causes so a proper recovery and symptom-management plan can be devised.

Cocaine, heroin, and prescription medication-based addictions are dependency cases that our team has years of experience in treating.

Inpatient Addiction Treatment

Our residential treatment program is well-suited for struggling addicts with long-term addiction.  During inpatient rehab, patients are housed on-site at our facility in fully-equipped living quarters where a structured environment free of outside distractions will help patients to maintain their commitment to and focus on recovery.

Depending on the patient’s medical and addiction history, a 30-, 60- or the 90-day program will be recommended.  In not-so-common cases, treatment for longer than 3 months may be suggested.

Attending the inpatient rehab program will improve your recovery outcome potential compared to that of the outpatient program.   This is because in an inpatient program you’ll reside at the facility full-time during treatment where you’ll have access to around-the-clock care.  This makes the process of recovery more bearable whereas, in an outpatient program, where you visit the center at scheduled times for treatment, you won’t have 24/7 access to help for challenges that may arise.

We understand that combating addiction, especially alone, can be difficult.  Our inpatient rehab program offers an all-inclusive recovery experience in the comfort of a safe home-styled environment.  Recovering addicts in our residential program find that our staff and treatments offer a chance at recovery that would not be had elsewhere.

It’s a personalized recovery program where a full-time treatment staff tends to every need of patients to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey to achieving a substance abuse-free lifestyle.  For information on the residential program and admissions, please contact us at 561-933-5522 for any inquiries.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Outpatient addiction rehab, while not as effective as the inpatient program, is an excellent recovery option for struggling addicts that have daily life responsibilities to maintain.  We understand that it’s not always easy to manage a household, take care of a household, and overcome addiction simultaneously.  As such, our outpatient rehab eases the process for addiction-inflicted individuals with busy lives to receive the care they need at times at scheduled times throughout the week.

In the outpatient program, patients will visit our facility at appointed times for treatments and therapy sessions.  Recovering dependents maintain their daily schedules, will reside at home and visit for treatments at times that don’t inhibit their daily work or family commitments.

Outpatient treatment should be considered as the go-to recovery option only for struggling dependents challenged with less severe addiction cases that have busy day-to-day lives to manage.  While not as effective as an inpatient program it can be a good treatment route for strong-willed individuals that will be able to practice abstinence outside of our facility.
